Since winning Ice Edge everything has gone so quickly! Newspaper articles, photographers and even BBC Look North! It feels like we're celebrities! Of course we did find time to fit in shopping trips for all the essentials we need! Whilst everyone else is buying their summerwear, we're catching all the winterwear before it goes!
Only a month to go and it is all very exciting! BBC Look North have even asked us to film a video diary whilst we are there!
Watch this space as we will be reporting back soon....maybe even from Svalbard!

All about us!
We're Liss and Lucy, the Iced Gems, and we took part in a national competition called Ice Edge. The brief was to design a product or service that helped combat climate change. We won and our prize is a trip to the Arctic!
Our Favourite Movies are
Pirates of the Carribean (2&3), Shrek, Cinderella Story, Freaky Friday, Blades of Glory, Wayne's World and Bruce Almighty.
Our fave TV Shows are NCIS and Scrubs!!
Our favourite bands are
Dashboard Confessional, Maximo Park, The Killers,The Feeling, Red Hot Chili Peppers, All-American Rejects, Razorlight, The Kooks, Jordan Pruitt and Kaiser Chiefs.
Our favourite books are Noughts and Crosses, Northern Lights by Philip Pullman and Princess Diaries

Hello lovely girls! We are missing you like crazy, though we have all found it novel touching the remote! Ruby had a great time at Gemmas and had a midnight pringle feast! Hope you get a good catch up sleep tonight.
